What do you want to know?     Concept         Quality         Who Are We?        Any Questions?

The Concept - Made to Order

Our concept is rather simple.  We've designed some ridiculously awesome and trendy sunglass and eyeglass shapes and chose the sweetest colors on the visual spectrum.  Now this is where things get interesting.  We love democracy.  So unlike any other eyewear company on the planet, we thought you might want a say in how your final product is designed.  So we created a digital canvas that you can find HERE where you can customize one-of-a-kind sunglasses or optical frames.  Then, just like your favorite super fancy restaurant, we'll produce your glasses to order and ship it straight to your door. Here's how it works:

  1. You select the shape and color you want for the front of your frame.
  2. Throw on any color temples (you can even choose a different color for the left temple than you've chosen for the right temple).
  3. Enter your own custom laser engraving inside and/or outside of both temples or pick a design from one of our expert artists.
  4. Choose one of our super cool sunglass lenses or enter your prescrption for an optical lens.
  5. We'll produce and assemble your one-of-a-kind custom sunglasses or optical frame and send it straight to your door...made to order.
  6. You make all your friends jealous.

Quality

We don't mess around when it comes to quality.  Before founding Made we were customers of those other online retailers.  We found that while they all have some trendy designs, their quality resembles that of a $2 drug store frame.  From day one we set out to make sure we didn't fall into that category.  With that in mind, we sourced some of the highest quality acetates on the planet.  But we realize that quality doesn't end with material.  All Made frames are assembled by highly trained, skilled professionals ensuring that when your custom frame reaches your door you can rest assured that its quality is up to par with some of the most expensive brands out there.  We're not just another online retailer sacrificing quality to save a buck.  Best of all, we know that you care about price just as much as quality, so we've made sure to keep our prices crazy low.

Long story short, you've just stumbled across the most ridiculously fantastic deal in the eyewear industry.  A custom built product just for you with the quality of the top brands in the world starting at just $84.

Who Are We?

We have decades of industry experience across our staff and advisory board and have the knowledge and knowhow to design, source, and deliver the best possible product straight to you.  Once upon a time we were just a group of guys and girls working in the optical industry and decided we needed to shake things up a bit.  So we packed our bags and shipped off around the world to research why things are done the way they are.  In the end, we discovered that with a few minor tweaks to the traditional optical industry model, we could turn the whole thing upside down and provide you, the customer, with the ability to customize your own pair of glasses.  So we did.  And here we are today.

Any Questions?

We're pretty humble people so writing about ourselves just isn't natural.  If we missed anything, just let us know and we'll be happy to fill you in.  Just shoot us an email at customerservice@madeeyewear.com.  Too generic of an email address?  Fine.  Feel free to annoy our founder Kevin at Kevin@madeeyewear.com.  Or if you're ever in LA, we like food.  We'd love for you to take us out for a nice burger.  We'll repay you in an unlimited supply of high-fives.  Thanks.

Made Eyewear.  We put the "fun" back in glasses.  Wait, that's not right.  We put the "ass" back in glasses?  Umm...nope...not that either.  Oh well.
